Abstract Loop heat pipe, carried out by liquid-gas phase transition, has been attracted as an efficient management device in high-heat-flux, long-distance and anti-gravity situations. The capillary pressure provided the porous wick evaporator drives circulation for working liquid, affecting exchange efficiency loop pipes directly. In this work, bi-porous Ti 3 AlC 2 was produced reaction sintering pore formers dissolution porosity size were regulated varying content cold pressure. distribution characterized mercury intrusion effects on performance thermal conductivity also analyzed. proportion of large pores increased with content, causing enhancement reduction conductivity. As increased, concentrated, fine fluctuated slightly, increasing improving Based experimental results, parameter proposed to modify Alexander model predict materials accurately, guide design structure promote transfer capacity.
